Account closed and debit order still running

It took well over 2 months to get Credit card division to close the credit card account: "No, we can't close it as the retention department must contact you first" which they never did. Fees where taken at such high amounts when I settle the account to only find more fees where being taken and I had to keep putting more money in the get the balance into a credit, that I decided to close the account. So imagine my ("surprised") shock when I got an sms to say fees have been taken this month again when I finally received confirmation that the account was indeed closed and everything was now resolved. Let me guess, "its my responsibility to make sure the debit order is stop", or maybe "retention must call me first", or maybe "its for "love and charity""? I have been a client for many years and have had multiple accounts. Now look how many I have left with Absa and ask the question why: There is no more such thing as: Listening to your clients, Understanding your client"s request and dealing with it by 1 person only from start to finish nor Helpful Efficient service.
