ABSA "not responsible" for possible loss

Just phoned the ABSA hotline, as I received an SMS on my phone to say "you've inserted your SIM card into another cellphone", and I am worried that this is a SIM swop by criminals.

I was told "phone Vodacom", then I said I want an e-mail confirming that I have phoned ABSA about this possible SIM swop and possible resulting, so I was told "the bank will not be responsible for your loss".
WHA-A-A-A-AT???

I immediately report this possible situation and want to ensure my savings are safe and they are TOTALLY UNWILLING TO HELP?!!!

I am speechless!!!
