I have been a loyal customer of Outsurance for almost 4 years now.

I have no issues with the provider itself but am far from impressed with the latest advertising trends.

What is the message that is trying to be conveyed? There are wallets / purses that seemed to be disturbed because their owners are spending beyond their means. Are they trying to convey that "when people need a quick buck" they must call Outsurance to get an easy R400 or that they should be insured by a company which will save them money every month - I think that is what they are trying to convey but are going about it the wrong way.

What sort of message does that give to us Outsurance clients because ultimately, are they forking out existing clients money to pay non-Outsurance clients R400? Do they have so much money that they need to give it away?

Must we (the existing clients) just sit back and wait for them to throw away our monthly premiums to other people???

It just doesn't make sense and is silly.
