Incorrect name booking

I bought a return flight ticket (Joburg-Durban-Joburg) through Standard Bank Ucount Travel mall. The airline is Kulula.
The mistake was: When I received my flight ticket after I booked it through the Ucount Travel mall my name and surname was given to be Abraham Johannes instead of Abraham Johannes Laubscher as it is in my ID document. I contacted both the Ucount Travel mall and Kulula for assistance to rectify this small error but neither could help me to rectify the fault.
For this I was forced to buy a new ticket at great expense!!!
It seems like a silly mistake (I don't know by whom or where the mistake was made) and small error that can be corrected at NO expense to anyone.
Is there any channel that I can use to refund the seat that I booked and that is not going to be used due to this error?
