What do we as Retailers do when a customer receives an SMS payment notification for a Declined or Error Transaction? We have had numerous and the customer feels he has paid, when in reality the money is sitting with the respective bank. I have personally been sworn at and even almost been hit.

The question is, why does a customer get a confirmed payment SMS when there is error or Declined message on the point of sale?

This problem needs to be resolved.
