Standard bank ATM.cloned savings card . absa ref mo 2584834
I hereby wish to clarify that no pin number was entered when this transaction took place; and it was only when I received the message on my phone that I realised that the transaction had taken place. I tried numerous times to cancel the transaction, but the ATM machine would not allow me to do so. I showed the manager of the shop what had happened and the message on the screen, and advised her also that I had not got to the point of the ATM machine requesting my pin number.
What I find very strange is that the ATM machine in question was a Standard Bank Machine and yet it shows on your system as an ABSA Bank machine.
It has also come to my knowledge that numerous people had had the same complaint during that week, including a police officer, and that these transactions were all ABSA Bank. This information comes from your staff at the Table View ABSA Bank Branch. The police officer's request was also denied by your office.
I feel as loyal and valued customer of Absa Bank for many years that I am very disappointed in the outcome. I also feel that ABSA Bank should have insurance for this.
