Delayed Response and subseqnt damage to Vehicile

I pulled up at a fuel station in central Johannesburg to check my fluid levels and left the car keys in the ignition and closed the door behind me, the car self locked with my phones, wallet and laptop bag inside, ran back to the office to call the insurance to send a lock smith and was on hold for 30 min. and still had no luck. A friend from the office offered to drive me to my house to get the spare key, as Murphy's law would have it, the key was nowhere to be found, we eventually drove back to Johannesburg to see if the car was fine as it was parked in a very bad area with high volumes of taxis coming in and out of the feul station, as I was driving back I called the Insurance again and eventually got assisted after 15min. on hold and the Insurance indicated they had deployed a locksmith to the scene. Upon arrival my the car had a scratch on the front fender and none of the pertol attendants had seen how it got there, finally after waiting for another 40 min. did the locksmith arrive and help open the car. This is extremely poor service, imagine if this was a wife or a daughter who was stranded in this high risk area? this is totally unacceptable and need s to be addressed.
