On 28 Dec 2012, I locked my keys in my boot at around 5:30pm. I called 1st for women to obtain road side assistance. The call center agent told me that he would call me back to give me an update of when the locksmith will get to me as well as sms me a reference number.By 7pm, I hadn't received the update as well as the sms. I called the call centre back and I was told that I did not receive an update nor obtain an sms because they could not locate a locksmith! He told me to find a locksmith myself, pay them cash and submit a claim for a refund. I had told the call centre agent that I was driving alone on my way to Tzaneen and that I hadn't reached my destination yet (I had 2 hours to go) and this didn't seem to matter at all. Needless to say I only arrived at my destination at 1am the next morning and BMW assistance told me they were in the area and would have assisted me within the hour if the agent had dispatched them to me at 5:30pm. I sent a complaint on 31 Dec & asked to know why it was deemed safe for me to "sort myself'. I followed up 3 times and had to resubmit my compaint. I only received my refund last week & a month later NO ONE has called me to address my complaint!
