Debit Order deducted but no service & no response

Our gardener has a contract with a monthly debit order. Twice in the past year you have taken his money but suspended his service. We, as his employer managed to sort this out the first time with some difficulty, but at least we succeeded. This time we have been blocked at every attempt. He has been calling your client services (using a friend's phone) for the past number of days with no success. Today he asked us to help and we first emailed client services, then tried the SMS option but both resulted in no response so we called and were put on hold with endless music. Finally we got through and were then told that only the client himself can sort this out and must phone himself - despite the fact that you have cut off his phone. When we argued this ruling the operator took exception to our language and cut us off! A further call asking to speak to the supervisor has come to naught - we were promised the supervisor was busy so would call back - that was half an hour ago. THIS SERVICE IS UNACCEPTABLE AND WE EXPECT A SPEEDY RESOLUTION.
