Cheque card decline although there where funds

On Saturday 25th of January I went to a local mall to pay accounts and do month end shopping.
My cheque card continually declined in many different shops. On one ocassion I used my ATM card that is link to the same acount as my cheque card and it when through, however thereafter it also decline everywhere I tried to use it. I had more than eniough money in my account for those transactions.

One of the most embarrassing days of my life. Considering changing my back at ten beginning of February.
