We rented a car from Avis around 11 Dec until 14 Dec 2014. We started to receive sms's from Credit Worx demanding immediate payment with Ref: RRBM10019. I phoned them to find out what money as i was still renting the car and had no idea what they were on about. i then asked the guy to send me an invoice as he told me this was for a rental in 2011. Anyway i eventually got the invoice on 23 Dec after another phone call and saw that it was for Car rental in Feb 2012 for damages to vehicle. I was on leave at the time and responded on the 8th Jan 2014 asking why i only heard about this now. My address and phone number has not changed since 2009. i refuse to pay for this as there is no proof that i cause damages to this car that is no longer part of the fleet at Avis. I will not be bullied into making payment no matter how many emails and sms's credit works / NormanBissit (Corne Bronkhorst) sends me, you can threaten us with Attorneys as much as you like, but as per ALL my email responses, Avis Customer Service / No service is aware of my complaint and until they can pick up a phone and call us or respond to mails, we will not come to a mutual conclusion.
