I decided to change my account to Standard bank last year because of what I believed would be a value adding service. I have never in my entire life experience such disappointing service.
Clients need to collect cards which is taking time out of a busy schedule.
When I fetched my card I requested that the sms service should be activated. This never happened. I returned to the branch in Dec to activate. I never received sms's. There was late transactions with card purchases. I get charged R240 for this, not being my fault. Went to the branch again on 25/01 was informed that the cell no was captured incorrectly. I am struggling to get my beneficiaries loaded on internet. Last month I informed the bond department to change my debit order to Std bank. Today I receive a sms that my bond is not paid. Messing up my record because the consultant never changed the debit order last month. I can not explain my frustration with this
