Multiply PrivateClub status is an invisible carrot

Me and my wife are platinum Multiply members for a number of years. In 2013 we did everything in our power to achieve enough points to reach private club. We required 130, 000 points for this status. In Nov we achieved about 120, 000 points. We exhausted all possibilities to achieve platinum status, including spending money at various suppliers to gain points. Our last resort was getting financial advice to gain this status.
I requested a financial consultant to call me. After a 35 minute telephone call with the multiply financial advisor, I was assured my points would be allocated, counting to my new status. After two weeks, I noticed my points not reflecting on the system. I called back again and queried the hold-up. Multiply's consultant did not allocate my points on the system. I left between 15 and 20 requests on the website for a financial consultant to call me. No-one did. After endless calls and transfers towards the end of the year I was informed that no-one is available to give me advice. I would thus not be eligible to qualify for my status.
This was entirely in error of multiply. How could my analysis get lost, and why did they not assist me and ignored me.
