UCount is just a rip-off

After 3 weeks of phoning the call-center and emailing customer service, I am giving up and not only writing about another of Standard Bank's schemes, but moving all my accounts to another bank.

I signed up for the new Standard Bank product, UCount roughly 2 months ago. I was told to use my card to pay for petrol, groceries etc at a list of retailers to gain points. I did so, even though I would not normally use these specific retailers but hey money back is a strong incentive.

After 6 weeks I checked my account to see how many points I had accumulated, and surprise, there was a 0 balance. I have now queried this 0 balance so many times both telephonically and via email with absolutely no response other than :

I will escalate this to our IT dep
I will follow this up with Sonja as she spoke to you last week and knows what is happening
Riaz/Oscar is dealing with this he will revert asap
You must belong to another rewards programme??

The list of excuses is long and varied. Needless to say I am paying this product R20/month and getting nothing back, not even a phone-call.

Unfortunately this seems Standard practice and they wonder why FNB is doing so well.
