I applied for a Home loan from fnb and recieved an sms on Saturday Morning (25/01/2014) i was over the moon as this is my first property and could not contain my excitment, They also said they would send out a valuator, On Monday i called and was told my documents are going for credit checking, Is this not something that is done before approval, Out of excitment on Saurday i called the seller and told them everything is in order it is just for the valuator to go out and then the gareenties will be sent.. On Tuesday the seller called me to find out what is happening and i did not know how to tell her that my stuff has once again gone for credit checks. The seller then called and was told that a letter can be issued stating that the bond has been approved but the bond holder (thats me has to call) I called and got the credit checking storey. i called today again and was explained that FNB will give me a loan of R45000.00 and i will have t pay R15000.00 towards the bond for approval, this is to my surprise as i was all along explained that i qulified for 100% bond. Please can someone assist as this is my dream and i worked hard to attain it. I am really desperate.
