Alexander Forbes Delaying Provident Fund Payment

AF received my claim on 03 May & was told it'd take 4-6 weeks for payment to be done. Last week, which was half way through the waiting period, I called & was told the funds haven't been disinvested and that I'll receive an SMS once this was done. It's a week later & no SMS. I called again today & was told that the funds are still not disinvested and no reason was provided. I'm told to wait another 2 days for feedback & no guarantee that the money will be disinvested by then. Worst of all I was told that I have to wait another 4-6 weeks after the disinvestment is done for me to be paid out. In other words it'd take more than 12 weeks for my money to be paid out. This is totally unacceptable!!! Especially when there's no reason for them not to have disinvested by now. If there were any issues, the least they could have done was to tell me so that we could speed up the process, not tell me they don't have an answer. To me it looks like they're just buying time to make the most profit at my expense.

AF has dropped it's standard of service & I am deeply disappointed. I never delayed in making payments & I don't expect any delays when I have to get a pay out. I'm disgusted!!!
