I took up a comprehensive motor insurance cover with Anderson Insurance on 22 August 2012 wherein I was to pay and monthly premiums of R739.81 which premiums I have been paying from date of inception of the cover to date. On 12 January 2013 I was involved in a motor vehicle collision wherein her motor vehicle was damaged. As a result of the aforementioned, I lodged a claim with yourselves and my motor vehicle was towed by AA to Anderson's panel beaters. Thereafter a letter was send by Anderson on 26 February 2013 wherein they indicated that METAL panel beaters have been appointed to repair my motor vehicle and further requested that I pay an excess amount of R8884.16, which amount I paid on 06 March 2013. On making numerous follow ups with Anderson and METAL on the progress of the repairs and promises were made that it will be ready for collection soon. On 26 March 2013 upon calling Metal panelbeaters to make a follow up, I was informed by Anderson that I am not covered by as there is an outstanding premium for January 2013. Why did they have to wait three months before telling me this and to date they are debiting my account of the monthly premiums, why is that if i am not covered
