TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE MAN IN THE STREET

I am at my wits end, after 8 weeks of waiting for my car to be repaired from 3/4/13 to 7/6/13
I get told the vehicle is to be scrapped, I had to call in and establish this myself. During all this time Anderson Insurance Underwriting did not communicate with me at all to keep me updated as to the progress of my claim.

I have subsequently been told that on top of the 10% excess of R8765.00 I have to pay a 10% write off fee of R8765.00. This is more than excessive as one knows it does not cost that much to write a vehicle off, especially when there is no HP attached to my Hyundai I10, 2010 model.
Also Anderson Insurance Underwriting will receive monies for scrapping the vehicle for its parts.

One has insurance cover to safe guard one for unforeseen circumstances and then one finds oneself being railroaded by the insurance company one has chosen to do just that.

I cannot understand how insurance brokers punt insurance underwriters such as Anderson Insurance Underwriting as it is clear that just rob their clients blind.

I feel Anderson Insurance Underwriting conduct themselves unethically and I require urgent advise.
