I registered for Ucounts in early December 2013. I agreed to pay the upfront annual fee (not monthly), which was duly deducted from my credit card during December. Being a Standard Bank account holder with various accounts expected to be placed on tier 4 or 5. Whenever I logged in it would say I was on tier 1. Eventually I called the contact center on Friday 10 Jan 2014. They told me whoever created my profile had duplicated it and hence me not having my tier correctly calculated. I was given reference number 4279530 and told it would be sorted in 7 days. On Friday 17 Jan it had still not be corrected so I again contacted the call center who told me they had spoken to the IT department and it would be sorted that day. Monday 20 Jan 2014 it had still not been sorted and once again I call the call center, reference number 4303474. The lady I spoke to was very pleasant, but again could do nothing other than speak to the IT department. In the end she called me back and said they were waiting for Standard Bank to come back to them and I must just wait. Tomorrow is Friday again... that's 2 weeks to correct their error and all the while I earn less points... useless is all I can say.
