Insurrance claim to be paid to custome

I reported that my vehicle was in an accident about 3months ago and it was still driveable. Another MIWAY customer reversed into my stationary vehicle. I logged the claim online and a service centre agent contacted and confirmed everything again via the telephone. I told them to refer the claim to legal as I was not going to pay the access money from my side as it was not my fault. The claim was eventually approved in December but the excess issue was not resolved as the panel shop advised me that a access of R3000 is still payable?

To date i have not received any response on what is happening at Miway Legal to have this resolved. I have also requested to have the claim paid out to me as I had to wait over a month to send the vehicle to the approved panel shop.
