My younger brother applied for a study loan sometime before Before Christmas and put me as a surety. Everything went well and the loan was approved until the documents were sent to Louis Trichardt. That's when the incompetence or bad service started; we were never informed that the branch had received the documents until we had to leave for Durban so we went to change the venue where we will sign the documents only to be told that documents have arrived already. Perhaps it was an issue of oversight and I understood and signed the documents. This was few weeks ago, as I write now the amount hasn't been paid and no one has phoned, emailed or sms as to what the holdup is about. Do these people even know that students cannot register before fees are settled? Why have a study loan if you do not check these things. Or if you can't settle let us know so we can make alternative arrangements. Now the kid is stressed to death. This kind of service is not on.
