It seems that our bad education in this country is evident in all sectors of service delivery in South Africa.

ABSA continues to charge me the incorrect amounts on my cheque account. After confronting them in 2012 about wrong bank chrages, they reimburst me R3000. They even then made a incorrct calculation because the correct amount was R3600. They eventually paid the remainding amount back into my account after a 3rd confrontation.

Exactly 12 months later, it came back to ABSA Hatfield to agian confront them with the same issue. Yet again, from September 2013 the incorrect amounts was charged on the account. I went to the consultant at ABSA Hatfield to assist and was met with the worst service I have ever had. After he admitted that ABSA had made a mistake once again, I was sent back and forth to lodge a complaint and I eventually spent an hour just go lay a complaint.

This is totally unexceptable. More than R4000 incorrect bank charges over an entire 2 year period and ABSA treats a client in such an horrible way. I will be closing all my accounts at ABSA and move to FNB. Atleast I know that no service, yes not even service from government cant be as bad as this. ABSA
