On the 2nd January my car had a mechanical breakdown. I called the tow line and requested a tow truck. I was told that I had to pay the driver R150 but the lady could not explain why. This was inconvenient as I did not have the money on hand at the time. I eventually had to get a lift to get the money to pay the driver. I requested a receipt which I did not receive! I was under the impression that all towing was covered by my policy
Its more than 2 weeks later and I call the helpline to query this and I have been transferred to 3 different people and this issue is still not resolved. I've been told that they will get someone to call me. This is just completely unacceptable! FFW certainly does not put the customer FIRST! this is the second bad experience I've had within 6 months. This kind of service is unacceptable. I will definitely be exploring other insurance options
