Went to the branch, to apply for a loan to consolidate other loans.
The lady took my payslip, and bank card. Not once did she ask if she can access my bank statements on their system as i am a Capitec client.
furthermore, other banks ask the customer what their expenses are. this woman just went through my statements, and decided for herself what are expenses. she added things to the application that should not have been there. She not once asked me any questions. she then tells me i qualify for 10 percent of what i asked for. I bank with you people, deposit my salary in the account i have with you people, and you insult me with a silly amount for a loan. Other banks have offered me way more. I thought Capitec would be better as my salary goes into this account.
Now, i am thinking maybe i should close the account and open an account with another bank who has not insulted me even though i am not their client.
