I would like to express my dissatisfaction in regards to an incident that occurred today. I received a message on my cellphone that a debit order had gone off my platinum cheque account towards a payment on my gold credit card. I found this very strange because my account cycles on the 19 of each month and during the month of December i got paid early so i made my payment early, i did a transfer on the 18 december. I understand the procedures around this and why the money was debited, i called your call centre to make am enquiry, i needed my funds to be reversed back to my cheque account and i tried to explain to them i made the payment in advance or rather just a day earlier and they would not listen, they said i should go to the branch. Went to the glen and sat in the queue forever even though i have bronchitis and not supposed to be out of bed, eventually got to enquiries and the consultant blew me off saying i need to use heir self help facility and call card division. I need my money back, i paid in advance and now my name is reflecting negatively because of fnbs incompetent staff yet i always make my payments every month and on time... So much for help...
