I've been a customer of standard bank for more than 10 years now, I must say I'm really disappointed with the service and empty promises I'm actually considering moving to another bank. I recently rented a car and R3000 was blocked in my account as deposit. I have since returned the car and spoken to the rental company and they assured me that they had released the money from their side. I went to the bank and I was told on two occasions that they could not see the money. I went back the 3rd time and my banker called card division to query, she was told that the money would be reflecting in my account in an hours time. Needless to say that did nit happen, I went back the following day, spoke to card division and they said 4pm that afternoon but that still didn't happen. I called again using my own airtime and was told to wait for Monday 4pm. It is now Monday 5pm and there's still no money, I called card division and was told to call after 2hours because their systems are offline. I'm extremely angry not only do I not have my money but Ive also been told a million different stories. I am now spitting vernom!!
