I am a student at the university of Pretoria
I have been a student since 2010 and have had an account with standard bank since 2008. I have never received benefits that standard bank have proposed to offer students. They have been charging me unnecessarily for debit orders, swiping my card and so on. I have given in my proof of registration to Brooklyn branch standard bank various of times and nothing has been done to sort out my account. It seems that students do not matter to standard bank. I have now had the final straw as I saw that they let one of my debit orders go off then placed it back onto my account? There was money available in the account before the debit orders went off. They then charged me an additional fee for the debit order not going through? I'm am incredibly up satisfied customer and I am going to switch to FNB .
If anyone from standard bank actually has an interest or cares about their customers pleas get back to me.
