I called into the AVAF call centre to enquire about my debit order as it didn't go through on the 25th of Jan, as it normally does each month, i spoke to a consultant by the name of Nonto Nonkoyana and she told me that my debit order has been cancelled to a cash payment that i wasn't aware of. I asked for her to check on the system who authorised that cash payment because i didn't give anybody any permission to do that into my account. She then responded by telling me that my account was with their debt counselling department and i asked again who authorised that and still couldn't give me an answer, she later offered me a number that i need to call to get an answer. I told her i want to speak to her manager or get the manager to call me back because i need someone who can provide me with a solution since she couldn't and she placed me on hold for 20 minutes and to this day i don't have any feedback from the AVAF department. She had the nerve to tell me that my account is in arreas and they expect me to pay those arreas when they decided to make changes into my account without notifying me. I asked for the AB number that authorised this on their FBSS systems and no response. WOW!
