Requested roadside assistance for mechanical breakdown at around 11:20 am. Reference nr 507. I was told that the despatching department will contact me to inform me which company will be despatched to assist. After about an hour of waiting I called and was told their turnaround times are between 60-90 min. How can that be. What if you get a breakdown in a dangerous area, but anyway I waited, needless to say for another hour without a word from the dispatching are. I called again and was told they will call me soon. I then decided to make alternative arrangements. After about 4 hours I recieved a call telling me they have dispatched someone. I had a breakdown at a Medi Clinic in a City centre and it took them 4 hours to respond. I dont want to think what would happen if you stuck in the middle of nowhere. I am totally disgusted by this service and its not the first time. I had a similar experience about 2 months ago. I had to drive from Rustenburg to assist my wife with a flat tyre on our Range Rover. Up to this day I have not recieved a call back from this dispatching area.
