Harassment by Call Centre

My wife has been called on numerous occasions by the Platinum Life Call Centre offering Cancer Cover. She has declined every time due to their insensitivity, incompetence and general rudeness.

During one call, she advised the agent that she could not talk as she had just received news that a close family member had passed away and she was preparing for a family visit. The woman was insistent on her answering just one more question, and another after that, and after that, so she hung up. During another of these calls, she again declined taking the cover but was still asked for her banking details in case she changed her mind. I'm assuming that's so that they can do the debit order instruction hoping that she wouldn't have it cancelled because its just too much hassle.

This is definitely not the kind of company one would want to have to turn to in a difficult time.
Blocking the number they dial from is a pointless exercise as they constantly call from different contact numbers.
