This is my second complaint about Standard in 2013. It is utterly ridiculous. Do they really not care about their clients??? Colour me shocked when I logged onto my internet banking just to see that I have been charged for an Overdraft Fee - WHEN I DON'T EVEN HAVE AN OVERDRAF FACILITY!!! How can I pay that fee then??? So, I tried to phone their call centre... only to be told by the first person that actually picked up, that he only deals with credit cards (do they not give training across the board at Standard Bank) So he told me I have to phone another number - because he can't transfer the call (what type of industry works like that??? How can you not transfer a call??) So then I found again - and after holding for 7:30 minutes at 8:00 in the morning and the voice keeps telling me there is a high volume of calls (as if) I hung up.

Somebody better explain to me what is going on with my account and who gives them permission to charge fees for facilities I don't even have - or I will take my business elsewhere.
