I am disappointed and frustrated at FNB.they called me a couple of years ago to convince me to open an account with them. They made many promises and told me they would beat my standard bank package. Thank goodness I never cancelled my standard bank account. I have always had consistently shocking customer service experience at FNB and none of heir promises have been fulfilled. Their slogan should be "how can we NOT help you? ". Whenever I go into an FNB bank there is confusion and chaos. Unlike standard bank who has someone to help and guide you to the right queue they have no-one. Their staff are consistently rude, dismissive, slow, and unfriendly. They try to pretend you are not there! Their call centre people are not much better either! I went to FNB norwood yesterday-it was chaos! The average wait was 1 hour. The staff were slow, unfriendly and unhelpful. No one there to help or provide structure to the chaos. Afterwards I went to standard bank- there was order and organization, people were friendly and helpful and I was in and out n 10 minutes!! FNB should make a huge investment in customer service training!
