After my complaint on ABSA'S pathetic service last week I finally got to sign an Agreement of Loss on the 30th December 2013 and was advised that I would receive payment within 72 hours. Further to that I received a call from a woman at ABSA who obviously responds to the complaints on Hello Peter, so the we the consumers are kept at bay, and was assured by her that my payment would be made immediately and that was Thursday the 2nd January 2014. It seems that people in the banking and insurance industry got there without an understanding of numbers because today is the 7th January 2014... way passed the 72 hours I was promised on the 30th December 2013. This just frustrates me.
