OUTSURANCE-INCORRECT INFORMATION/LACK OF FEEDBACK

Business & Finance

I have been an Outsurance client for a number of years. I purchased a 2013 Citroen DS5 vehicle this year and unfortunately the car was involved in an accident, no fault of mine. I called Outsurance and the Advisor, Ivan Molefe, advised me on the 20 December 2013, that the vehicle was written off. I was disturbed at the news, but proceeded to move right along to make arrangements to purchase another vehicle. I have now been advised that the vehicle will not be written off and that it will be repaired. To my knowledge both airbags were deployed during the accident. I travel regularly from Gauteng to KZN and unfortunately I do not feel secure driving a vehicle that has had damage to that extent. Why do the assessors not contact the client to provide feedback? The accident was traumatic enough. The assessment report I received today, following my query earlier, is dated 19 December 2013. I do not have a car rental or credit shortfall facility, to my knowledge. What do I do? Please advise me the best way to proceed.

Maybe it is time to worry about the song and dance afterall :-(
