TERRIBLE SERVICE - USELESS BANK

Standard bank used to be a bank i could count on.

My card was cloned before Christmas. I had to freeze my cards and get it sorted.

Charged for a new Card, reported to department over telephone and got case number. Been about 2 weeks, still no contact from bank.

I tried to phone the bank on 0112274905 to get an update on my case and enquire about my funds being refunded. (the Hillcrest banch manager told me they no longer pay out clients but i am welcome to try.)

18 Minutes sitting on my cellphone trying to get through to the bank. Great call centre guys... Not only do i loose money from my account being cloned that i am still out of pocket from, but no backup service at all. NOTHING.

TELL ME WHY I SHOULD STAY WITH SUCH A PATHETIC BANK WITH USELESS SERVICE?

I go into the branch and get told, sorry sir go use that phone and phone the dept. So i sit there in the Branch for 22 Min and then get cut off. Call the manager, get told..."sorry nothing i can do, please dial again"

JOKE. guess i will have to waste more of my time with your pathetic bank, trying to get back my money.

I live in Durban, my card was used in JHB. Cant be me.
