I was broken into and robbed in September 2013. The buggers had broken my gate at the front door and and go into the house through the front door (no flies on them). I subsequently decided to put in a Trellidor at the front door to be more of a deterrent.

I get broken into again exactly five weeks later. They once again opened the gate at the front and then preceded to pull the entire Trellidor out of the wall after buckling it so that it will never work again.
I did all the paperwork that goes with this terrible thing.

After 3 weeks did I eventually manage to get the gate fixed as well as the front door that was damaged when they forced the Trellidor out the wall.
I am STILL WAITING for ABSA to pay me out for the damaged Trellidor and I think it is absolutely disgusting that firstly its my sense of security that is not considered and because the Trellidor is so badly damaged I am unable to use my front door, so everyone has to enter the house through the garage.

I am so disappointed in ABSA and the fact that they very quick to take your money every month but when you are vulnerable and need them to step up, they are unable to do so.
