Hectic season doesn't mean NO feedback

I am very upset with how FNB is dealing with their smart phone orders, I phoned FNB after ordering my phone online. The line was answered by a guy called Emmanuel who was so strict in his voice about process and procedure regarding turnaround time. He repeatedly told me that I will only know about my order after 24 working hours and since I last spoke to him. I haven't received any feedback nor acknowledgement that FNB received my order. I know this is a tough season, there are going to be delays but its totally unacceptable that FNB hasn't't got a strategy on how they can keep in touch with their clients. It seems like they just expect us to understand that this is a tough season and that people should just shut up and wait their turn. I know this bank to be innovative and to be one that takes their clients seriously. I need feedback on my order by end of business today.
