Friday 20 December midday my card terminal stopped functioning and I immediately contacted Call Centre to have them send out a technician urgently. Ref No 12238847. Being the Festive Season which is a busy period, I have lost a lot of business due to the fact that my customers couldn't pay with a Debit Card. This has also cost me a lot of money in lost business and my machine has not been able to bank from Friday and is costing me on my Business Account overdraft. I contacted the Call Centre on Saturday morning 21 December and spoke to Thumi who then got Nicole to phone me as Thumi told me that a technician was scheduled to come to my shop on Monday 23 December. I told Nicole that was not good enough as I am in retail and I need a card machine that is operational. Her reply was that FNB are on skeleton staff at this time of the year. This is not acceptable as I am supposed to get back up service when it is required and promptly. This is the 2nd time I am getting substandard service and I may very well look for a new service provider in the New Year. FNB's problems are not my problems. I have got my own problems to deal with. To be honest their service STINKS
