I was trying to convert for 2 days, If I phone forex, I am placed on hold for stupendous amount of time, just to get cut off, if I do get though; I am told they cant help & need to get hold of someone else, because they are only helping out & cant give me the rate. I have even phoned Absa Private bank assistance & asked them for help, spoke to a Thulani, was also a complete waste. What is the use of changing banks-we moved from FNB to ABSA, as ABSA PROMISED us better service than FNB!!! What a joke!!! ABSA PRIVATE & ABSA FOREX is the worst. ABSA= Wolf in sheep's clothing. EVERY month we have problems with ABSA FOREX more so than what we had with FNB. Wednesday the 18th/12/2014 @ 08:24 foreign payment was received and a notice was sent to me that forex is awaiting our instructions. I have been trying to convert since Wednesday (18th.12.13) morning from 9:00!!! And now on Friday afternoon @ 16:07, forex management informs me that money will only reflect in my account maybe Monday or there after, this is 1 day short of waiting a week for funds to be converted & reflect in my account, since Forex has been received Wednesday morning (6 DAYS!!!) EVERY MONTH FOREX??!!!
