Claim was outright rejected without a proper reaso

My clutch plate packed up yesterday (18/12/2013) and General motors arranged for tow truck to take it away... they took it to GM in Ladysmith as I was driving home... this morning I put a claim through to Motorite as i have a maintanaince plan with them which covers such and they rejected my claim on the grounds that it is it is not due to wear and tear but I have had my car for almost 42 months... I dont understand what rubbish is that after paying so much money to be insured... I would really like to advise anyone to be very careful of such rip offs..
