UNAUTHORISED DEBIT ORDER

I must expressed how deeply disappointed I am with FNB. I am an FNB account holder for many years. Beginning of this month an unauthorised debit of R399.00 was debited from my account.
FNB was aware that it was unauthorised as they contacted me before i could contact them. When i did speak to a consultant i was told i must pay R15.00 to have the debit order stopped. I had asked the consultant why must i pay for a mistake of FNB. To which she just replied then you can go online and do it and pay R5.00 and I must call her back when I do that.

Firstly this was not my doing, but i need to pay R5.00 or R15.00 plus waste my airtime to call them to have my own money given back to me!!!

if you knew it was your mistake why must i pay for it and run around just reverse the transaction and give me back my money.

I had dispite my frustration stopped the debit order online at my cost and now i have to go and phone them back to have my money given to me.

I used to recommend FNB to everyone but will not be doing that anymore. R15.00 may not seem like alot of money to a bank but it is to me and I deserve great service and peace of mind to know that money will not take money without permission
