My Water heater/geyser burst on the 2013-10-10. I telephoned a plumber to fix the geyser. Thereafter I followed the appropriate process and contacted Absa, whom sent out an assessor to my damage. The geyser was replaced and the plumber was paid and Absa agreed to pay my damages minus the R500 policy excess. I have completed all the adequate forms and faxed and emailed and phoned several times. I have been receiving the same answer that they will follow up on this query. No payment up to date has yet been made. This is unacceptable, the lack of service is horrific. I want an immediate answer to what is going on, and what is causing the delay.
