CLAIM REJECTION OF SPECIFIED ALL RISK ITEM

I have been a Santam policy holder for almost 9 years. In this time I have never neglected to pay any premiums. As a client of almost 9 years I am appalled by the rejection of this claim. I have always been very critical of your rival insurance companies who offer pay-outs and gimmicks to sell their insurance products, instead I opted for an insurance company renowned for the fact that they settle their claims in times of loss. That signifies the true definition of insurance to me. The words of your recent marketing campaign "WE'VE PAID 99% OF ALL CLAIMS MADE LAST YEAR" even enforced my convictions thereof. After recent events this however seems to be a farce. The item in question is an engagement ring. The item was an all-risk specified item on my policy insured from the date of purchase 15 July 2011. I have paid the premiums diligently since that date. My wife lost the ring unaware of how and when it exactly happened Santam now refuses to pay out my claim. I don't see the point in ensuring anything with Santam anymore.
