I've a PL with the bank & contacted the call centre 2 make an arrangment in payments as I'll be on maternity leave. The guy said I need 2 go 2 the bank 2 change from debit order to cash, went 2 the branch, but the receptionist said that shud be done by the call centre. She phoned the call centre but gave me the phone, spoke to Tsholofelo wo then said she just changed it but the branch shud also change it, she then told the recp how 2 do it, then was 2 be assisted by the serv consutnt who said that cant be done, phoned the call centre again, asked 4 the team leader who also said that cant be done. The reason i want this is tio avoid fees for unpaid debit orders, said unfortunately I'll be liable as they cant assist me. Other creditors assisted me with the arrangement & actually reduced my monthly instl til I resume duty, but my bank cant assist me, told them I will be closing that acc, they said its fine by them, but'll have 2 settle the loan in full before that. Its not that i dont wanna pay, just that UIF doesnt have a straight pay date. Im so disappointed & my loan has never been on arrears & left with only 10months 2 finish the payment.
