Insurer won't pay for my damages

I have a small incident where someone scraped the side of my car. I reported and submitted my claim to virgin money, my inusrance company. 1stly, there was an issue that philani from virgin money had, apparantly they needed to listen to the recordings of my initial conversation when I took the policy. After that was resolved philani tells me ysterday that virgin money will only repair my vehicle when proof of my this months premium goes through!!! Is this a joke or what? My car insurance goes off on the 15th of each month which means my car is insured from the 15th. Of Nov to 15th of Dec. What gives them the right to withold my repair work when the incident hapened on the 1st of december?? Isint this a breach of contract? This is disgusting service from virgin money and philani who is a useless agent. Facts are facts. I am being made to look like a when all my stuff are in order. I cannot believe virgin money, a massive company would have to wait for my december premium to go through 1st then honour my claim when the incident hapened within my already paid for month. None of my debit orders have not been honoured. This is pathetic... With a capital P
