OVER PROMISE AND UNDER DELIVER

Hello Peter,

My dad was medically boarded off from work due to sickness and didn't have any benfits with his employer. He has a retirement annuity with Sanlam and we submitted a claim for the funds to be released however they only offering to release a portion of the funds. My dad is paying off a bond and he has a vehicle financed and with no current source of income, he's unable to survive financially. We have pleaded to Sanlam to assist by releasing the full amount so he can settle of the bond just so our home doesn't get repossessed however they have declined our request. It's really sad that you put your trust in a company for many years and when it's time to make a claim they find every excuse to make things difficult. All we want is for Sanlam to pay the full amount to assist my dad during this tough time as it's taking a toll on his health.
