We had a house burglary on the 16th on November. They two items one of which was an Apple Laptop. However to date this item has not been replaced, I assume the main reason being that we were indirectly being accused of lying and basically being told that we do not have enough proof that we did in fact have this item! The assessor phoned my wife's cousin and confirmed what they had since she was staying with us that night. We have two other witnesses that will confirm what was, yet we are looked at like criminals and liars. We were then told that even a picture of the item would help since I purchased the item privately. I finally managed to find a picture only to be told that the picture was not good enough. The assessor interrogated us and treated us as if we were the criminals! We were questioned about things not relating to the burglary!!! This is pathetic and at this point I want to cancel my policy with Momentum because this sort of treatment belongs in the dark ages.

The value of the items in question do not even amount 10% of our household cover. What do we have insurance for then? I am still awaiting a response from a manager but nothing...
