Shocking Service and delay in responce

I called Outsurance on Monday, 2 December @ 08:00 regarding a claim. After nearly 20 rings someone eventually picked up not even apologising for letting me hold so long. After explaining my claim she said that she will check if it will be covered but she opened a claim so long and told me that she will get back to me as soon as possible. At about 09:00 yesterday morning she called and said unfortunately it will not be covered as only tv's and mirrors get covered for accidental breakage - I had to specify the item if I wanted it covered. I said it was never explained to me and I want a supervisor to get back to me asap. To date I have not heard anything. I called the callcentre at 15:00 today. I came through to a different department and the lady advised me to call back later as everyone in the relevant department are busy now. What happened to Outsurance calling us back and why the delay in service. I've been a Outsurance client for nearly 5 years and always had amazing service from but this is shocking!!! Please can someone get back to me ASAP.
