Absa
11 months to transfer a property

As part of my divorce settlement, I bought out my ex husbands share of our house. I went to Absa in January this year to assist with the transfer of the property as well as obtaining a new bond, only because the existing bond was already at Absa. After many delays and incorrect information provided by the bank, it is more than 11 months later and I am still no closer to getting this issue resolved. Going through a divorce is hard enough, but having the process dragged out for 11 months because of incompetence is just traumatizing to say the least.

Lets hope it doesn't take another 11 months to solve something that should take only a few weeks.
