Unauthorised debit by ABSA Bank

T the beginning of the month of January I received a phone call from the above mentioned attorneys about my outstanding balance on my ABSA credit card. I spoke to a consultant and we agreed that i would make a payment of R200 on the account on the 31st January 2013. today, not even 30 minutes after receiving a reminder sms about the arrangement, I receive another one saying that money was transfered from my account (R1100). when I phone Absa, i was informed that no arrangement was sent to them. Thats why they took the money. i mean if I had the money, i would have paid the money in full already. i think its bull that one person phones and says one thing and the other does the other. if I was a skelm, i would have moved my acc form ABSA to another bank. When i phoned the attorneys, I was told that they would speak to their supervisor and see what can be done. In the mean time I wont even have money for school fees or rent. i am very disappointed as i made the arrangement and didn't expect any debits from my account. The attorneys must send absa confirmation of arrangement so the money can be reversed. TODAY!!!
